How we collect your information

We collect your information whenever users interact with us, our site or our partners such as when a user creates and/or uses an account on Personpilot. Additionally, we look at how visitors to personpilot.com interact with the site in order to gain insights into how to improve our own user experience. We collect information when:

  • A user uses the Personpilot platform’s service;
  • A user contacts us directly through email, phone, post, or message functions;
  • A user browses and interacts with personpilot.com, and other subdomains to personpilot.com


What information we collect

Personpilot stores and processes personal data submitted by users, such as but not limited to: user’s name, e-mail, gender, date of birth and occupation. Users should be aware that they are responsible for the content provided during their use of Personpilot. Personpilot will not process personal data for purposes or by other means than as instructed by the Terms of service, or as otherwise necessary to provide the services.

In order to provide services to our clients, Personpilot collects certain types of data from our clients. Further, clients may collect or request information from users when utilising the services, subject to the Terms of service entered into between Personpilot and all clients.

Personpilot will only process information about users if there is a lawful basis for doing so and if there is a specific reason to do so; this cannot be done without processing user data. These lawful bases are: to generate insights from the collected feedback that help Personpilot to improve products or services; if we need to process user information in order to provide users with the service they have requested or to enter into a contract; we have user’s consent; we have other legitimate reason for processing user data, or we are under a legal obligation to do so.

  • To prevent and detect fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes;

Personal data may also be processed for purposes related to the performance of a contract or if it is required to enter into a contract:

Personpilot will not retain user information for longer than we believe is necessary in order to provide users with our services. Personpilot is the data controller for personal data and will as a starting point not disclose personal data to a third party unless to service providers and joint data controllers, who undertake work on behalf of or with Personpilot.
